Local Rush Bookings (booked <72 hours before move start)
Deposit & Final Payment
When you book a Rush Booking (a move that begins in 72 hours or less), you'll be charged your 10% deposit and pre-authorized for the full booking amount at the time that you book. This pre-authorization is a temporary hold on your payment method to confirm that you have the funds available to pay for your move.
Your Final Payment - the full, final cost of your move - will be charged 48 hours after your move is complete.
Local Guaranteed Bookings (booked >72 hours before move start)
Deposit
Your deposit is 10 percent of your estimated cost. You’ll be charged this amount 48 hours after booking your move.
Final Payment
For Local Moves: For local labor only and full service moves we place a temporary hold on your payment method for the estimated balance 2 days before your service. Your final, updated total will be charged 48 hours after your move is complete.
Long Distance Moves
Deposit
Your 10% deposit is charged 48 hours after you book your move, or immediately upon booking if you're booking your move within 72 hours of the start time.
Final Payment
For most long distance moves, we place a temporary hold on your payment method for the estimated balance 3 days before your move starts. Your final, updated total will be charged the day after your move is complete.
For example, if your Long Distance move ends at 5PM on April 13, your final order total will be charged at/around midnight on April 14.
*For Long Distance moves spanning more than 4 days in duration, we place a temporary hold on your payment method for the estimated balance 3 days before your service, and we charge the final amount 6 days after that.
Cancellation
If you cancel your move, you may be subject to late cancellation fees depending on your move type and when you booked. You can find the details of our cancellation fees policy here.
